CONCEPT

Silica is a wristwatch brand from Portugal. Their watches highlight the second hand for a different experience. More than hours, minutes, seconds, everyone should be reminded to live in every moment. A "Different Time" episode is recreated in a watch that will remind you to live in the moment, without overthinking the past or the future.

Our goal was to create a memorable identity that felt honest, tactile, and aesthetic. A symbol inspired by the first natural watches, water, sand, and sun, was created to be applied in small-sized details. For the brand identity, we developed a brand frame system inspired by the watch dial, like a window to the world viewed by Silica. Highlighting different graphic contrasts for different sensorial approaches.

The result is a simple and timeless design that finds a perfect balance with their pure concept and watch designs.
